We are pleased to have featured in GreaterSports blog. “AFC Masters was set up by Iain Massingham in 2005. Iain, who works with Bolton Social Services, identified that there was a lack of accessible sports provision in the borough for children and adults with disabilities.   What started as three people having a kickabout on a Wednesday afternoon has now grown into a 100-strong club. Congratulations! to everyone here at AFC Masters who scooped the prestigious Lancashire FA Inclusion award at the recent Presentation Evening held at Bolton Wanderers FC. The inaugural Awards took place on Saturday 31st August at the Premier Suite in Bolton Whites Hotel, with close to 400 people in attendance. 16 separate awards were handed out to deserving winners, ranging from Coach of the Year and League of the Year to Contribution to Futsal of the Year and the Rising Star of the Year.
